Dink Smallwood is a humorous isometric adventure RPG. It combines great visuals with an immersive gameplay to play out the classic peasant becomes the hero plot that these epic quests become.
Produced and published by Robinson Technologies in 1997 this is the 1999 version that was re-released, this time in to the public domain. It might be a slightly bigger download than most games on this site but it is certainly worth it.
Adventure games this good are very rare and can only really be trumped by the amazing Zelda series. Plus there is the unique feature of extending your game with Dink Modules (of which there are very many free on the Web) for unlimited fun; or if you are really keen they can be created by yourself with the included Dink Edit.
Just make sure you have a spare month in your calendar first!
