Mario War I know, yet another Mario clone! So what makes this one worth playing? Well, lets start with an explanation. The game is a multiplayer one-screen deathmatch. Using the simple controls of left, right and jump you have to defeat your opponents before they defeat you. You each start with a set number of lifes depending on the level, then the last one to lose them all wins. You lose lifes by falling off the screen, landing on spikes or being jumped on by a fellow gamer. With 25 predefined levels and a simple to use (and relatively quick to make) level designer included you certainly won't get bored of the levels quickly. Also with the possibility of up to four players Mario Mayhem can be multiplied up to astronomical proportions. Ultimately you will get bored due to the lack of adventure or exploration, and there has to be at least two of you playing at any one time. But having said that, it looks nice and sounds familiar, so all you Mario fans should find some enjoyment in it.
